After 86 years of statehood, women were finally allowed to serve in the state legislature in Arkansas. 100 years later, authors Lindsley and Stephen Smith celebrate the nearly 150 women who have led their constituents with their book Stateswomen: A Centennial History of Arkansas Women Legislators, 1922-2022.

You can also hear them discuss their book Tuesday, December 6th at the Pryor Center.
