Color is the theme for the University of Arkansas' Arkansas New Music Ensemble winter concert tonight at the Faulkner Performing Arts Center.

"Kind of where we're at right now is the thought of color and how color influences sound and how we see and hear things in terms of sound and color," explains ensemble conductor Jamal Duncan who stopped by with ensemble performers for an in-studio for Of Note with Katy Henriksen.

Listen to the full interview plus in-studio performance of a movement from Dana Wilson's "Gold Mosaic" by music department faculty Ronda Mains, flute; Theresa Delaplain, oboe; and Miroslava Panayotova, piano.
