Ozark Marshallese Oral History Project

The new non-profit Marshallese Educational Initiative, based in Springdale, works to promote intellectual, cultural, and historical awareness of the Marshallese people and facilitate cross-cultural dialogue. As Jacqueline Froelich reports, MEI staff is currently gathering oral histories of Ozark Islanders.
