From the Ozarks to Outer Space

We first spoke with local artist Gustav Carlson about five years ago. At the time, his works, mostly comics and other related graphic art forms, were focused on Ozark folklore or characters based in the Ozarks. More recently though, his work has taken on a new venue: outer space. We recently spoke to Gustav about the new comic series, titled “Tourist Unknown."
