Fort Smith Group Organizes Block Party to End Period Poverty

A group of young professionals called 16B, which is affiliated with Fort Smith's 64.6 Downtown organization, will be holding a block party this weekend aimed at ending period poverty. Attendees are encouraged to bring a box of tampons in exchange for two raffle tickets. All tampon donations will be distributed to Next Step Homeless Services, Riverview Hope Campus and Fort Smith Crisis Intervention Center.
