Springdale Woman Creates Twitter Account to Analyze, Better Understand Pandemic

When Springdale resident Misty Orpin wanted more information about the pandemic in order to make decisions for her family, she started analyzing the Arkansas Department of Health’s data and sharing it on a new Twitter account called Arkansas COVID. She eventually turned her research into a website, which includes raw data, county snapshots and a podcast.
