 Arkansas Philharmonic conductor Steven Byess first fell in love with classical music when he put Mendelssohn's violin concerto in E minor on a turntable as a college student. He'll be conducting the concerto that sparked the passion that would lead to his career in this weekend's Valentine's Day concert with guest violinist Alexander Markov.
