Springdale Considers Storage Building to Prepare for Winter

State highway officials plan to hold several meetings throughout the state, including one next week in Fort Smith, to update the state's rail master plan. State health officials say that although there are a few suspected cases of enterovirus D68 in Arkansas, no cases have been confirmed. Springdale aldermen next week will consider approval for construction of a storage facility for salt and grit that's used in treating roadways during winter storms. And the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville has another year of enrollment growth.
