Community and School Meal Programs at Risk, Congress Decides if They Stay

USDA waivers that provide funding for meal programs, both in and out of schools, expire soon, and Congress will decide if they stay. This decision potentially leaves schools and meal sites without money and planning time to feed their communities for the summer and fall according to No Kid Hungry director Jillien Meier.
