In late September, the U.S. Department of Defense announced a new discreet policy that would allow certain undocumented immigrant youth to join the military. Jacqueline Froelich spoke with attorney Margaret Stock, a national security and immigration analyst. (Correction: 78 thousand members of the U.S. Armed Forces cited in this report represent a combined figure of green card holders and individuals who attained their citizenship through the Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest program-- numbering less than 4 thousand.)
