Local Methodist Church Grapples With Proposed Split

In January, the United Methodist Church announceda proposed split over the issues of same-sex marriage and the role of LGBTQ+ clergy. The protocol would result in a new, more conservative "traditionalist" denomination, and offer the mainline United Methodist a way to loosen restrictions around homoseuxuality. We hear from a representative from Central United Methodist in Fayetteville as indivdual congreations prepare for the vote in May.
