Please join us for a luscious vegan potluck with our special guest speaker Karen Gros, who will be giving her presentation regarding our food choices and how they impact our health and the environment. Important info, don't miss it!

Karen Gros is the new Associate Director of Education at the Ozark Center for Lifestyle Medicine and the Founder of Karen Gros Wellness Cooking School and Travel. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, she holds a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell, as well as a Wellness Counseling Certificate from eCornell, and is currently enrolled in the Food Revolution Network's Plant-Based Coaching Program.

Karen will share with us some highlights from the International Conference on Food in Medicine, which she attended in August, and will speak on Dr. Kristi Funk's "Beat Breast Cancer" campaign and Dr. Neal Barnard's presentation on the commercial fishing industry and the impacts on the environment and human health.

Bring a vegan dish to share, enough for 8 servings. Desserts and beverages (non-alcoholic) are welcome additions. Recipes, or list of ingredients are helpful in case anyone has a food allergy, or wants to recreate your dish. If it's gluten free, please label it so.
