Join The Camerata of Northwest Arkansas for an afternoon of music by celebrated composer, Franz Schubert. The group will present a variety of German art songs (Lieder) as well as instrumental and choral works. Featured pieces include “Der Hirt auf dem Felsen,” written for voice, clarinet, and piano, selections from the song cycle Die schöne Müllerin, and “Klage um Ali Bey,” a choral work for women’s voices.

The Camerata of Northwest Arkansas is an arts organization dedicated to promoting and performing opera and vocal music. Some of our recent activities include Tour de Opera (a fundraiser concert benefitting Havenwood), Opera Unplugged (an open mic night at Six Twelve Coffeehouse and Bar), and Christmas caroling at TheatreSquared, the Fayetteville Square, and Tontitown Winery.
