The NWA NAACP will host its Founders’ Day Scholarship Luncheon featuring keynote speaker Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, cultural anthropologist, policy analyst and national commentator. His address, titled “For Such a Time as This: Answering the Call to Serve,” will highlight civic engagement and community action.

This inaugural Founders’ Day event celebrates the founding of the NAACP and takes place during Black History Month. Proceeds support the NWA NAACP’s annual scholarships for area high school and college students
