OLLI- Bob Dylan & Woody Guthrie Museum Tours

OLLI- Bob Dylan & Woody Guthrie Museum Tours

“Blowin’ in the Wind” The Bob Dylan Center, designed by Olson Kundig, exhibits 70 years of handwritten lyric manuscripts to some of the world’s most treasured songs, unreleased recordings, never-before-seen film performances, rare and unseen photos, visual art and other priceless items spanning Dylan’s career as one of the world’s most influential cultural figures.

“This Land is Your Land” Bob Dylan said “You could listen to Woody Guthrie songs and actually learn how to live.” A short walk from Dylan’s museum is the Woody Guthrie Center. It is dedicated to preserving his body of work and celebrating his life and the continuation of his legacy. The facility provides resources to students, teachers and academics about Woody’s role in American history, his advocacy for social justice.

Cost of admission to both museums is included in the class fee. Lunch is on your own.

This class is open to current OLLI members only.
