Osher Lifelong Learning Institute-What is Unitarian Universalism

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute-What is Unitarian Universalism

Unitarian Universalism (UUism)
is a progressive spiritual tradition that champions individual exploration, theological diversity,
inclusivity, and social justice. Unlike many religions, UUism is non-creedal—it does not require
adherence to a specific set of beliefs, but instead
encourages members to seek truth through personal experience, diverse wisdom traditions, and
active engagement in the world. This program
offers a compelling journey through the foundations and global history of Unitarian Universalism, its core values and principles, notable figures who have shaped the faith, and how UUism
is practiced today—culminating with a look at
the rich story of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fayetteville (UUFF).
