Folk School of Fayetteville will host the Ozark Folkways Kids Fiber Art Camp with Abby Hollis the week of July 15—19 from 10 am to 2 pm. Safely learn every step of the traditional fiber supply chain from local fiber artist Abby Hollis at the Folk School of Fayetteville (207 W Center St). Kids ages 7—14 will transform wool straight off the sheep into beautiful finished pieces! Students will observe a professional sheep shearer, wash and dye wool, spin yarn on drop spindles, create miniature weavings, and needlefelt their own designs.

Scholarships are available for families who receive SNAP Benefits, and discounts are available for families who plan to enroll multiple children in Fiber Camp.
