People and their Clothes
People and their Clothes
We’re throwing a clothing swap/fashion salon at the house! February 8th, 4-7pm.
We reached out to some friends that walk around with a point of view and asked them to share it with us. Cynthia Post Hunt, performance artist, curator and avante garde icon; Kelsey and Lydia Walden-Bohl, a mother-daughter team that make the clothes they want and reign over the Renfair; Danielle Hatch, artist and color whisperer with an architectural eye; Parker Bradford, gender-bending musician with an instinct for the perfect fit; Beth Jones, apparel buyer, texture connoisseur, capsule wardrobe queen, perpetually chic; Robin Wallis Atkinson of NWA Fashion Week and Upkept. They might write something, present something, show and tell, who knows — you have to be here to find out.
Monica Diodati (Thick Slice o' Toast / Dinner with Friends) will be playing music, making a spread of snacks, and whipping up batches of drinks. Bring clothes to swap, maybe 15 pieces max, especially your most eccentric, hardest-to-style items for live outfit building by our special guests. Those that feel inspired are invited to walk the catwalk.
Let us know if you’ll be bringing clothes to swap by DMing @dinner.w.friends / emailing hello@dinner.w.friends.com.
Suggesting $25 to cover costs of food and drink but don’t let that stop you. All are welcome.
