Eureka Springs, Arkansas – The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow (WCDH) will present our March Poetluck, taking place at WCDH 515 Spring Street on March 19th at 6:00 pm, and featuring Arkansas author Zeek Taylor.
The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow is proud to present Zeek Taylor as our featured reader for our first Poetluck of 2026. Zeek Taylor is the recipient of the Arkansas Governor's Arts Award for Lifetime Achievement. Best known as an award-winning visual artist, he is also an author, a storyteller, and a public speaker. Recently, he gave an online presentation about the state of Arkansas to an audience of young Russians via the US Embassy in Moscow. He has performed twice on the National Public Radio show "Tales from the South,” and his stories were heard by more than 130 million listeners worldwide. A StoryCorps interview with Zeek is on file in the Library of Congress, and a segment of the interview aired on NPR's Morning Show. He is the author of four books. His latest book, "Out of the Delta, the Anthology,” is a collection of autobiographical short stories and was released nationwide by Sandy Springs Press. A long-time resident of Eureka Springs, he considers having a Writers’ Colony suite dedicated to him as one of his greatest honors.
