Wallet-friendly family event. $1 for kids, $2 for adults to fly. Veteran families fly free. Free to park and watch. Handicap preferred parking.Food provided on site (proceeds benefit The Friends of Prairie Grove Pound) . People may bring food to picnic. Kites for sale $1-$20. Kite Hospital to assemble and repair kites. 50 cent raffle (each person may only buy one 50 cent ticket) at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 for large nylon kites. After the 2:00 drawing there is a contest for kids only to guess how many armadillo holes were filled in before the event. Many small, silly awards throughout the day.
