This weekend the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas kicks of its new season with Brahms, Bernstein and Rautavaara. It's the first time in a while where the symphony itself shines in the spotlight completely, with no featured soloists.
"I think every single program has something extraordinary on it," says Matthew Herren, SoNA's executive director. "Either a great soloist or a great combination of pieces or, in the case of November, a great combination with no soloists so we really feature the players of the symphony."
