Earlier this spring, the University of Arkansas hosted a conference dedicated to Jewish contributions to Middle Eastern music. Two of the scholars involved, Chris Silver from McGill University and Jonathan Glasser from the College of William and Mary, stopped by our studios during the conference to talk about how they became interested in the subject.
