U.S. Senator Boozman Leads Bipartisan Legislation to Regulate Cryptocurrency

The legislation calls for cryptocurrency to be regulated as a futures commodity rather than a securities exchange. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission falls under the purview of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, where Senator Boozman is the ranking member.

Bipartisan legislation is in the works to regulate cryptocurrency in the United States, with Arkansas' senior senator John Boozman co-sponsoring the bill. We speak to Senator Boozman about the call to regulation, the importance of making the work bipartisan, and how to stay knowledgable about a rapidly moving industry.
