Arkansas State University will start an eSports team to compete competitively starting in the fall semester. Arkansas State University is requesting membership this fall in the National Association of Collegiate eSports and would be the second Sun Belt Conference member to be allied with the organization. Georgia State is the other Sun Belt member.
