Aug. 6 Drinks and Dialogue Event Welcomes Speaker Kelly Krout
The League of Women Voters of Washington County (LWVWC) continues its Drinks and Dialogue gatherings in August. This event will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, at Crisis Brewing, 210 S. Nelson Hackett Blvd., in Fayetteville.
The guest speaker will be Kelly Krout, a licensed social worker, children’s book author, and former foster parent. She was a candidate for state representative in 2020 and a candidate for lieutenant governor of Arkansas in 2022.
Krout works as a therapist at a local high school and provides professional development on mental health topics. She and her husband have seven sons, and a dog named Veto. She spends her free time reading, running and watching her kids play basketball.
This event is open to the public, and admission is free.
