Native Tree Planting Volunteer Event @ Walker Park

Volunteers needed!

Join us to plant native understory trees and shrubs at Walker Park in Fayetteville on Wednesday, March 18th from 3-5:00 PM! We’ll be planting locally grown native species provided by the Watershed Conservation Resource Center to restore the urban forest, improving water quality in the Beaver Lake watershed!

RSVPs are appreciated, but not required. Please reach out to volunteer@beaverwatershedalliance.org. All ages are invited to participate!

All tools, equipment, training, water, and snacks will be provided. Recommended: wear long sleeves, pants, and sturdy shoes. Meet at the parking lot @ the corner of W. 13th Street & S. Block Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 72701 (Coordinates: 36.050675, -94.160520).

This event is in partnership with the US Forest Service, the Watershed Conservation Resource Center, the Northwest Arkansas Black Heritage Association, Arkansas Conservation Corps, the City of Fayetteville, and Beaver Water District.
