Every life, no matter how fragile or brief, forever changes the world. In honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, Circle of Life warmly invites you to join us for the Wave of Light, a worldwide memorial ceremony dedicated to honoring the short lives of babies who left us too soon.

This special event offers parents and families a meaningful opportunity to come together, light a candle, and remember their babies in a shared moment of reflection and love.

The UARK Department of Anthropology and Predental Studies Program will be visiting the Fayetteville Public Library to teach kids and families about oral health and toothy traditions from around the globe!

At this event, children will be given a “tooth passport,” and each station they visit will earn them a stamp. Stations will represent different regions of the world and will be attended by Anthropology faculty and graduate students, clinical partners, and Predental Studies students who will talk about tooth-loss-related traditions and about oral health practices.

A fully-stamped passport will be rewarded with a goodie bag!

This event is funded by the University of Arkansas Humanities Center.

Join us for Start with Art, a free weekly program designed especially for caregivers and children ages 0–5. Together, families will explore the galleries, enjoy sensory-rich experiences, create art, and connect with other caregivers in a welcoming and playful environment.

Each week features a new theme inspired by artworks throughout Crystal Bridges. Through movement, music, storytelling, hands-on artmaking, and sensory exploration, children and caregivers will share meaningful experiences while fostering creativity, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.

Jones Center Bike Bash is back with a 2-day event celebrating all things cycling! Festivities begin Friday, October 23, with the Kickoff Cookout. Bring your bikes to this community gathering that will include free food and drinks, games, prizes and the opportunity to ride and play at Runway Bike Park.

On Saturday, October 24, our annual pump track championship goes next level as we join the USA Pump Track Championship series! This race is the third and final event of their season, and we are proud to bring it home to Springdale. Riders ages 5+ of all skill levels and bike types can compete for pump-track glory in a series of timed races! See below for details and get registered today.

The Rogers Historical Museum presents the upcoming temporary exhibit, “Ozark Tourism: Land of a Million Smiles.” The exhibit will be on display in the Trammel Gallery from April 25, 2026-April 1, 2028.

People have been drawn to the natural beauty and recreational wonders that Northwest Arkansas has to offer for over a century. From the natural springs and rivers to historic sites and museums, tourism has become one of the region’s leading industries.

This exhibit shares the history of tourism in the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas, exploring everything from places promoting fresh, healing spring waters, such as the resort towns of Monte Ne and Bella Vista, to modern recreational pastimes that make tourism a billion-dollar industry in the state.

The 7th Annual Fort Smith Fall Festival returns on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., bringing a full day of free family-friendly activities, living history, arts, shopping, and community festivities to downtown Fort Smith.

Fort Smith Museum of History will provide free museum admission, costumed interpreters, and additional opportunities to experience Fort Smith's rich past.

Highlights of the day at FSMH include:
