The Hysterical History of the Trojan War - Live Performance

The Hysterical History of the Trojan War - Live Performance

St. Paul High School Theater students will perform, "The Hysterical History of the Trojan War," by D.M. Larson. The Trojan War, a legendary conflict in Greek mythology, began when Paris, prince of Troy, abducted Helen, wife of the Greek king Menelaus, sparking a ten-year siege of Troy by the Greeks, who ultimately won by using the Trojan Horse trick. In this hysterical version, the heroes are more like goofy teenagers, the gods have cell phones, Agamemnon seems able to use the Force, Homer is a blind songwriter, Athena and Apollo argue over who's actually the god of war, and Poseidon wears goggles!
