State Reports More COVID-19 Deaths; Buffalo National River Closes to Visitors

April 2, 2020 1:52 p.m. — During the governor's daily COVID-19 update, officials announced Arkansas has had two more deaths bringing the total to 12. There are now 643 positive cases in the state. Currently 66 people are hospitalized. That's up 10 from yesterday. You can watch the daily briefinghere.

April 2, 2020 9:25 a.m. -- The National Park Service has announced the closure of the Buffalo National River to recreational use until further notice. This closure includes the Buffalo River, trails, open space and campgrounds. You can read the full statementhere.
