On-Site Instruction Canceled Through End of School Year

April 6, 2020 6:25 p.m. -- According to the Washington County Coroner's Office, a 72-year-old woman, who was a resident of Oklahoma, died at a Washington County medical facility due to COVID-19.

April 6, 2020 1:48 p.m. —  During today's COVID-19 update, Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced Arkansas schools will continue with AMI through the end of the school year. Students will not return to the classroom.

Officials also announced the state has 875 positive cases, an increase of 45 from yesterday. Seventy-four people are hospitalized. That's up 7 from yesterday. You can watch the daily briefing here.
