Starting Oct. 12, KUAF will add the popular public radio program RadioLab at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoons, and a new NPR program, It’s Been a Minute with Sam Sanders, at 11 a.m. Saturday mornings.
In addition to the new programs, the Saturday schedule will include Travel with Rick Steves and Hidden Brain. There will be changes to the Sunday schedule as well, with a new airtime of noon for the NPR program Planet Money/How I Built This.
In addition to the new weekend lineup, The Metropolitan Opera, broadcast live during the Met’s season beginning in December, will be broadcast on KUAF2, the station’s all classical music HD signal. That signal is available through an HD Radio, streaming at KUAF.com or by using a smart speaker.
