The KUAF Giving Tree: Back to School edition is back! All this week, KUAF is working with Second Helping NWA to gather school supplies for children in need. Your donations will help to fill 24 donated backpacks that Second Helping NWA will distribute at Grandview Apartments next Sunday, for the Sunday for the Soul backpack giveaway event.
You can help fill a backpack for a child by bringing the following school supplies:
- packs of Glue Sticks
- 24-count packs of Crayola crayons
- 24-count packs of Colored Pencils
- 24-count packs of #2 yellow wood pencils with erasers
- 12 pack Fiskar scissors
- packs EXPO dry erase markers
- Composition notebooks
- Packs of wide-ruled loose leaf paper
- Pencil boxes
- Pocket folders with prongs
- packs of highighters
- packs of Crayola washable markers
