Solar Project Moves Fayetteville Closer to 100 Percent Clean Energy Goal

The city of Fayetteville will soon fill 72 percent of its operational electricity needs with clean energy. Just before Thanksgiving, the city council approved an agreement with Ozarks Electric Cooperative and Today's Power Inc. to install solar arrays at the city's two wastewater treatment plants. The project will move the city closer to its goal of operating on 100 percent clean energy by 2030.
