U.S. Census Director Discusses Importance of Accurate Count

U.S. Census Director Steven Dillingham and Fort Smith Mayor George McGill discuss the importance of participating in the 2020 Census at a press conference Oct. 11, 2019.

Steven Dillingham, director U.S. Census Bureau, was a featured speaker at the annual Hispanic Women's Organization of Arkansas conference Friday at the Jones Center in Springdale. He says his office is working to raise awareness about the 2020 Census and plans to hire 500,000 Census takers.
