Juneteenth Community Picnic Planned in Bentonville

Following Black Lives Matter protests on the downtown square, one that ended in tear gas and another that ended with the police chief joining protesters in a moment of silence for George Floyd, Friday's observance of Juneteenth in Bentonville will include a community gathering with food and conversation. Juneteenth is the celebration of the end of slavery in the United States.
