The political power of fashion

The power and politics of fashion can transcend age, status, gender and more. How fashion interacts with us, and with culture, will be explored in a University of Arkansas Honors College Signature Seminar titled Fashion, Identity and Power. Eric Pritchard, associate professor and the Brown Chair in English Literacy, will lead the class. They joined Ozarks at Large Kyle Kellams to discuss the upcoming lectures.

Next spring, the University of Arkansas Honors College will offer a seminar simply titled “Gothic,” led by professors Lynda Coon, the Honors College dean and a historian, and Kim Sexton from the School of Architecture.
