Congress for the New Urbanism

In early June, a group of more than 80 northwest Arkansans took part in the Congress for the New Urbanism in Providence, Rhode Island. The cohort of urban planners, governmental officials, architects, engineers and other professionals gathered to learn more about managing growth and building more sustainable urban environments.

They were also there to prepare for the 34th Congress, which will take place in Northwest Arkansas in May of 2026. We hear from the group about why they believe this conference is so important and how it can help the region prepare for exponential growth.
