War Eagle Appreciation Day 2025

War Eagle Appreciation Day 2025
Join us for a day of fun, education, and celebration along War Eagle Creek—one of the most important watersheds in Northwest Arkansas! This beautiful area provides 1/3 of all water entering Beaver Lake, the drinking water source for 1 in 5 Arkansans. Let’s come together to enjoy and protect this incredible natural resource.
What’s Happening:
*Float & Cleanup (Before and After the Event) – Bring your own boat or rent a kayak through O.A.R. (campsites available too!). Cleanup optional but appreciated! Visit www.oaroutdoor.com/about for more information
*Live Music – Rufus Stephens Jr. Memorial Concert featuring Jude Brothers
*Free Lunch – A thank-you for joining us
*Native Plant Sale – Support the watershed with local flora
*Raffle Prizes – Several lucky winners will take home prizes
*Family Fun – Scavenger hunt, nature education stations, games, and more
Bring a lawn chair, your friends & family, and your love for the outdoors! Help us celebrate stewardship, community, and the beauty of War Eagle Creek.
