Join Amy Lyn Edie, a talented portrait artist from Northwest Arkansas, for an immersive six-week drawing course designed for complete beginners. This hands-on class will guide you through the essential techniques of drawing, focusing on three key areas: portrait drawing, perspective drawing, and landscapes. In the first two weeks, you will explore the fundamentals of capturing the human face. The following two weeks will introduce you to the principles of perspective drawing. In the final two weeks, you will connect with nature as you learn to draw landscapes. Whether you are picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to refresh your skills, this course offers a supportive environment to foster creativity and growth. Take a journey into the art of drawing, where you will build a strong foundation and create beautiful works of art. *A detailed list of materials needed will be provided upon registration.

The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press is one of JR’s most extensive immersive and experiential works to date. After taking portraits in one of three individual photo booths, visitors enter the interior of an oversized, whirring printing press – turning their image into a tangible work of art while offering a glimpse into the creative process of JR. After the experience, visitors leave with their own, one-of-a-kind print.

generational scholar, Judith Tavano has studied generations from all angles and in a variety
of settings. She has learned that though each
generation is unique in its experiences, expectations, and behaviors, we all have one thing in
common. We are all aging. Let’s come together
and look at what’s good about aging, what’s
not so good, what we can change, and what
we can’t. Let’s look backward and forward and
together, laugh, sigh, and keep on keeping on.

brought to you by Dr. Spencer Allen, who
teaches ancient and biblical history at the University of Arkansas, is a deep dive into the belly
of the whale as we discuss, verse-by-verse, the
Bible’s most famous prophet from historical, literary, liturgical, and satirical contexts

"Teresa Pelliccio underwent a significant mind-shift in 2004 after reading The Power of Now and began a meditation practice. Shortly thereafter, she began experiencing conscious, otherworldly “trips” during her sleep. To understand and process these experiences, she turned to art. Her art forms are born from personal associations and blend spirituality, the metaphysical, intuition, self-empowerment and rebellion with femininity, whimsy and impulse. It is her wish that her work might inspire you to consider what may lie beyond the physical and encourage you to explore it. And, to love and support yourself fully as you do. 
Hilka Irvin is a Minnesota native who made Eureka Springs her home in 2014. A self-taught artist, she works in various mediums—oils, acrylics, and watercolor—each reflective of her mindset. In addition to visual art, she writes poetry and short stories to fulfill her creative soul. Her work is often described as eclectic, as she creates instinctively rather than adhering to expectations. Hilka thrives on stepping outside her comfort zone and expresses herself through art and writing that continues to evolve.
RIGDON IRVIN has always thought of art as a history of humankind. His art is very much influenced by the fact that he is a child of the 70’s. He was introduced to all kinds of music, art and various aspects of the counter culture at an early age, by older siblings, who were coming of age during that time. He loves color and watching it explode on the canvas, incorporating the architectural lines of the mid century, as well as the atomic themes of the space age. Being an abstract artist allows him the freedom to create art from “an anything goes” mindset. "

"The MINIskirt party is a fundraiser by the MINIskirts (female MINI Cooper owners) and Gotahold Brewing benefitting People Helping People, a local nonprofit that assists with prescriptions for residents of Carroll County experiencing financial hardship. Participants are encouraged to wear minikirts and compete in the miniskirt contest for prizes. About The Mountain Gyspie's: Orginating from the Boston Mountains of Arkansas, the unbreakable harmonies and seamless musicianship of The Mountain Gypsies have captivated audiences everywhere. With devout followers on social media, this trio yearns to show you their love of music. The key to the Gypsies appeal is their ability to interweave past and present, hard knock mountain soul to pop polish, taking you to a different stratoshpere with a fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and a stand-up bass.

This cherished tradition brings together families, neighbors, and law enforcement for an evening filled with fun, connection, and community spirit. As a key part of our "Community First" initiative, the carnival provides a safe and welcoming environment for families to celebrate Halloween while strengthening the bond between our deputies and the citizens we proudly serve.

This fall, roam a world outside time as acclaimed studio Klip Collective uses light, sound, and state-of-the-art projection mapping to transform acres of Ozark nature into a one-of-a-kind journey across time and space.

Designed exclusively for the museum’s North Forest, this outdoor, site-responsive experience features six immersive installations for you and your crew to explore. Witness the natural rhythms of the Earth brought to life, see yourself fractured across the surface of a broken time machine, marvel together at the movements of the forest in a landscape of light, and more.

Backed by a custom soundtrack and open during the Ozarks’ most beautiful season, Time Loop truly offers an outdoor experience unlike any in Northwest Arkansas.

Kathy Baldock's acclaimed workshop digs deep into the history, language, and cultural shifts that have shaped how the Bible has been used against same-sex relationships. This day-long immersive teaching builds a timeline alongside attendees - revealing how science, politics, religion, law, and evolving understandings of gender and sexuality have influenced modern theology.
A screening of 1946 will follow the class.
