Join us for an afternoon of inspiration, connection, and action at the Serve2Perform
Community Empowerment Forum.

This year’s theme —The Future of Empowerment—explores how we can move from resistance to resilience, embrace innovation, and lead with purpose through the Serve2Perform Way. The Forum brings together thought leaders, changemakers, and community members for meaningful conversations and opportunities to act.

Highlights include:
✨ Fireside Chat: Moving from Resistance to Resilience – Exploring how individuals and
organizations can shift mindsets and thrive in times of transformation.
✨ Panel: The Serve2Perform Way to AI Adoption and Application – Leaders share
real-world practices to adopt and apply AI organization-wide.
✨ Trailblazer Awards – Honoring individuals who exemplify empowerment and impact in their
communities.

Between sessions, attendees will have time to connect, reflect, and engage in networking
activities that turn inspiration into action. We’ll close with a Serve2Perform Community
Networking Hour (4:30 – 6:00 PM), a chance to deepen relationships and celebrate the
momentum we’re building together.

This is more than a forum—it’s a movement toward empowerment, innovation, and
collective impact.

"Teresa Pelliccio underwent a significant mind-shift in 2004 after reading The Power of Now and began a meditation practice. Shortly thereafter, she began experiencing conscious, otherworldly “trips” during her sleep. To understand and process these experiences, she turned to art. Her art forms are born from personal associations and blend spirituality, the metaphysical, intuition, self-empowerment and rebellion with femininity, whimsy and impulse. It is her wish that her work might inspire you to consider what may lie beyond the physical and encourage you to explore it. And, to love and support yourself fully as you do. 
Hilka Irvin is a Minnesota native who made Eureka Springs her home in 2014. A self-taught artist, she works in various mediums—oils, acrylics, and watercolor—each reflective of her mindset. In addition to visual art, she writes poetry and short stories to fulfill her creative soul. Her work is often described as eclectic, as she creates instinctively rather than adhering to expectations. Hilka thrives on stepping outside her comfort zone and expresses herself through art and writing that continues to evolve.
RIGDON IRVIN has always thought of art as a history of humankind. His art is very much influenced by the fact that he is a child of the 70’s. He was introduced to all kinds of music, art and various aspects of the counter culture at an early age, by older siblings, who were coming of age during that time. He loves color and watching it explode on the canvas, incorporating the architectural lines of the mid century, as well as the atomic themes of the space age. Being an abstract artist allows him the freedom to create art from “an anything goes” mindset. "

The University of Arkansas MFA Program in Creative Writing & Translation in the Department of English and the Fayetteville Public Library are proud to present their 2025-26 Walton Visiting Writer in Translation, poet Rajiv Mohabir. The event is presented in conjunction with the library's True Lit literary festival.

Rajiv Mohabir is an Indo-Caribbean American author of five acclaimed poetry collections, The Taxidermist’s Cut, Cowherd’s Son, Cutlish, Whale Aria, and the forthcoming Seabeast; a book of translation, I Even Regret Night; and his hybrid memoir, Antiman. He is winner of the 2015 Kundiman Prize, a 2015 PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant, finalists for the 2017 and 2022 Lambda Literary Awards, finalist for the 2022 PEN Open Book Award, the 2021 National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry, and longlisted for the PEN/Voelcker Award in Poetry. Mohabir has received fellowships from Voices of Our Nationʻs Artist foundation, Kundiman, The Home School, and the American Institute of Indian Studies language program. He received his MFA in Poetry and Translation from Queens College, CUNY and his PhD in English from the University of Hawai`i. Rajiv is currently a professor at the University of Colorado-Boulder.

Throughout the session, we’ll move through a variety of postures, guided by breath and mindful movement, building both physical endurance and mental focus.
