Of Note for Thursday, August 7: "The Biggest Jazz Riff Ever"

 Pianist Jeremy Denk has made quite a splash in not only the classical music world but in any genre. This recipient of a 2013 MacArthur "genius" grant calls J. S. Bach's masterpiece The Goldberg Variations "the biggest jazz riff ever," according to this profile from NPR. Tune in to Thursday's Of Note for much of Denk's recent recording of the work.
