Born in Beirut to Armenian parents, guest pianist Annie Balabanian presents an all-Armenian composer recital Friday at Giffels Auditorium in Old Main beginning at 8 p.m as part of a partnership between the UA Music Department and the King Fahd Center for Middle East Studies. Balabanian stopped by the studio to discuss the inspiration for such a recital.
