Live From NYC: The Metropolitan Opera Launches 85th Season of Saturday Matinee Broadcasts

This weekend, New York's Metropolitan Opera begins its 85th season of live Saturday matinee broadcasts. Launched in 1931, these are the longest-running continuous classical radio series in American broadcast history. Tune in Saturday at 12:00 PM to experience a live performance of Puccini’s classic La Boheme, featuring some of today’s most prolific artists. Barbara Frittoli and Ramón Vargas star as Mimíand Rodolfo in this tragic story of love and loss.
