New York’s Metropolitan Opera returns this week for another edition of its Saturday matinee broadcasts with a family-friendly production of Rossini’s timeless comedy, The Barber of Seville. With some of the most recognizable melodies of all time and a farcical storyline, this opera instantly became and remains one of the most beloved productions for the stage.
