Inaugural Open House for Familial Caregivers to Teach Patience and How to Lift

The Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education recognizes that a majority of care for the elderly comes from family members. From 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, the center will host an event to teach techniques for proper lifting assistance, fall prevention, and other skills.
