According to the Internal Revenue Service, about 10,000 Arkansans are owed about $6 million in withholdings from the 2012 tax year. Though it's not an uncommon situation, one IRS spokesperson says time is running out to file a tax return or amended return for 2012 to claim a portion of that money, because after April 18, that money will be remitted to the U.S. Treasury.
