Fort Smith Humane Society Readies to Shut Down Animal Shelter

The HOPE Humane Society will close its animal shelter in mid-July.

The HOPE Humane Society animal shelter in Fort Smith is closing its doors come mid-July after the organization and the City of Fort Smith could not reach an agreement on a contract renewal for impoundment services. For a list of dogs still available for adoption, click here.
