After six years at the helm, Blake Robertson is retiring as president of Northwest Technical Institute June 13. During the last year, NWTI has started construction on a welding center and an ammonia refrigeration and industrial maintence center, the first new buildings constructed on campus in about 20 years. Jim Rollins, former superintendent for Springdale Public Schools, will take over as president July 1.
