American Mariachi Brings Music and Joy to the Stage

American Mariachi, written by Jose Cruz Gonzalez, brings a big-hearted story of the creation of an all-female mariachi band to the T2 stagge beginning August 6th. The production includes Marichi Amistad from northwest Arkansas. We met three of the actors/musicians in the show to find out more.

The UARK Jazz Festival is continuing through part of next week. Last night, Artist-in-Residence Steve Wilson performed with the UofA jazz faculty at the Music Depot in downtown Rogers. Tomorrow night, Wilson is performing with the NWACC All-Stars, UofA faculty and students at Thaden School as part of the UofA College Concert.
