Northwest Arkansas Veterans witnessing coverage of the Russian siege on Ukraine, especially those who suffer with PTSD — post traumatic stress disorder — may be triggered by violent events unfolding in that war. Dr. Aaron Carson, associate director of the Behavioral Health Clinic at UAMS-NW in Fayetteville, a former VA psychiatric provider, suggests ways to help. Those in crisis can call 1-800-273-8255.
